Clarification Text on the Processing of Personal Data Collected through Membership, Contact Forms, and Orders
Build Chronicles collects some of your personal data (such as name, surname, account password, email address, delivery address, billing address, and mobile phone number) to fulfill its legal obligations, primarily those arising from Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, and to manage collection, invoice issuance, order delivery, and/or membership registration processes. These personal data will be processed in an environment not accessible to the public, based on your explicit consent, and will not be used for purposes or within a scope other than those specified in this KVKK and Clarification Text.
Purpose of Processing Personal Data
At Build Chronicles, personal data is processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, relevance, proportionality, and retention for the duration necessary for the purposes for which they are processed or as required by the relevant legislation. These purposes include planning and executing commercial activities, providing information to authorized institutions as required by law, obtaining payment services for matters not directly provided by us, delivering orders, collecting payments, registering memberships, issuing invoices, resolving consumer complaints, sending commercial electronic messages with your consent, ensuring that operations comply with Build Chronicles' procedures and relevant legislation, planning and executing necessary audit activities, planning and executing corporate sustainability activities, conducting activities to protect the reputation of our company, managing requests and complaints, and planning and executing corporate governance and communication activities. Personal data may be processed through automatic or non-automatic means such as obtaining, recording, storing, maintaining, modifying, and rearranging. The collected information will not be shared with third parties without your knowledge or instructions, nor will it be used for commercial purposes or sold outside of operational needs.
Transfer of Personal Data
The personal data you provide may be shared with domestic/international/public/private institutions and organizations, companies, Build Chronicles' consultants or solution partners, and other authorized institutions and organizations, suppliers, or subcontractors, for the execution of the purposes mentioned above. It may also be shared with legally authorized public and/or private legal entities and other persons or institutions permitted or required by Turkish Commercial Code, other relevant legislation, or upon the request of official authorities, limited to the purposes for which they have the legal authority. Personal data may be transferred to third parties without your explicit consent in accordance with Articles 5 and 8 of the Personal Data Protection Law.

Deletion, Destruction, or Anonymization of Personal Data
In accordance with Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Law, personal data, even if processed in accordance with the relevant legislation, will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized by Build Chronicles when the reasons for processing them no longer exist, either automatically or upon the request of the data subject. The procedures and principles regarding this will be carried out in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and the Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction, or Anonymization of Personal Data, published in the Official Gazette dated October 28, 2017, and numbered 30224. Within 3 months from the date on which the obligation to delete, destroy, or anonymize the data arises, personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. When you request the deletion or destruction of your personal data:
a) If all the conditions for processing personal data are no longer present, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. Your request will be fulfilled within 30 days at the latest, and you will be informed.
b) If the conditions for processing personal data no longer exist, and the personal data in question have been transferred to third parties, the situation will be notified to third parties, and the necessary actions will be ensured in accordance with the regulations.
c) If all the conditions for processing personal data have not been eliminated, your request may be rejected with justification under the third paragraph of Article 13 of the Personal Data Protection Law, and you will be notified in writing or electronically within 30 days at the latest.
Rights Arising from the Personal Data Protection Law
As data subjects, customers have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:
- To learn whether their personal data has been processed or not,
- To request information if their personal data has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing their personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
- To request the deletion, anonymization, or destruction of personal data,
- To request the notification of the correction, deletion, anonymization, or destruction of personal data to third parties,
- To object to any adverse outcome that may arise from the analysis of processed data solely by automated systems,
- To claim compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing of personal data.
Non-personal information, which is data that does not identify you, may be used for any purpose and shared with third parties without consent.
