Istanbul Builders Association (İNDER) and VELUX, a Danish company operating worldwide in the roof windows sector, came together within the scope of strategic co-operation negotiations. In the meeting, innovative solutions and earthquake safety in the construction sector were emphasised and possible collaborations were discussed.
At the centre of the meeting, especially roof duplex and horizontal architectural solutions were discussed. Ideas were exchanged on how VELUX's innovative roof window systems can be integrated with these architectural solutions. It was emphasised that VELUX products, which provide important advantages such as natural light and ventilation in roof duplex projects, will add value to the projects both aesthetically and functionally.
Another important topic of the meeting was the earthquake safety requirements in Turkey. It was stated that both sides agreed that the safety standards should be carried to the highest level in construction projects to be carried out in regions with high earthquake risk.
In the meeting, a comprehensive evaluation was also made on the developing trends in the construction sector and the projects that can be realised in the future. It is believed that the strategic cooperation between İNDER and VELUX will create new opportunities, especially in sustainable architectural solutions and security priority projects.
Kubilay Salihvatandaş, Secretary General of İNDER, stated after the meeting that the Turkish construction sector is in continuous development and that such international co-operations will make a great contribution to the sector.
The meeting, which was completed with positive feedback from both sides, is expected to be transformed into concrete projects in the coming period.
This strategic step is considered as an important step towards developing innovative solutions in the construction sector and projects that comply with international safety standards.
